I would recommend James and Apple Paving. They came to quote, gave good ideas which we took on board and then promptly started work once we agreed. They were frequently working here from early morning right through to about 7pm, in some cases here till half 8 at night to get the job done. James even came when he was ill to make sure the job was getting done They were very hard working and we were always kept upto date. James always answered or returned my calls and I believe they were very good value for money as we are very happy with the job done. The pictures attached are a before and after. In summary, they were hard working, diligent and reasonable, with a high standard of finishing.

Apple Paving Team are professional, responsive and offer a good value for the money. They responded very quickly to our initial call and were on site working within days of confirming our plan. The team was good and we are very pleased with the results. We only had a minor issue with regards to the time, as they didn't contact us if they were delayed, so that is our reason for 4 stars, otherwise would recommend to others.

Responded very quickly to the advert. Apple Paving, James and the team removed a large concrete slab from the garden, levelled it and turfed it. They started our project within a week of the first visit and were finished a week later. They did an excellent job, we are both very pleased with the outcome

Excellent and Efficient with Only a Couple of Complaints We were looking to totally refresh our tiring back garden, and after a knock at the door and been presented with a leaflet from Apple Paving, I asked them to come around later to give us some ideas and a quote. That same evening Edward came and listened to our ideas and shared his thoughts with us, and after a little working out he told us his quotation for the job, explaining that this was the price for the complete job even if there were some changes along the way. We asked for a couple of days to think it all over. James and Edward called in a few days later and we discussed a few things and accepted their quote, the next day I had a written contract e-mailed to me. A few weeks later the work started and the guys worked very hard clearing Fencing, Decking, Patio and the preparation was done to a very high standard. The new patio was laid, raised flower bed built, garden levelled and re-turfed, new fence and gate fitted to, all completed in about 8 days. All the guys on site were polite and worked very hard even through the hot weather. James and Edward were regularly on site giving us feedback, suggesting amendments and making sure everything was going in the right direction. We now have a fantastic new garden which we will enjoy for a very long time, thanks to the high quality work of Apple Paving. Our only disappointments were the way our driveway had been left. They had tried to hose it down a couple of times but it still looked awful. We eventually cleaned it ourselves which took two of us 5 hours to get it looking respectable. Also the garden gate doesn’t fit perfectly. It would have been 5 stars otherwise. With that in mind we would Recommend James and his team.

My wife and I were looking to renovate and extend our front driveway and have some turfing installed in our back garden plus other minor works. After contacting Apple Paving and leaving a message, we received a prompt call back and arranged a visit the following evening to survey the work and give us a quote for the job. James and his assistant listened to what we wanted, offered advice and options, and gave us a quote the next evening – which upon reflection we were happy to accept. We were told that the duration of the work would be one week, and work started on time a 1.5 weeks later. The ground workers arrived on time at about 0830 each day, were very polite and tidy, and worked very hard until finishing around 1800. The supervisor and manager would attend site several times a day to ensure all was going to plan and to discuss options and changes proposed during the works. The quality and finish of the work was very good and more importantly the preparation work (foundations), was also done correctly meaning it should look good and perform for many years to come. The duration of the work was 7 days; however the team worked Saturday and Sunday to ensure it was completed on time. We are very pleased with the result. We now have a beautiful extended driveway and back garden; delivered on time and budget with no drama. We wish to thank James and the team at Apple Paving and would recommend them to anyone thinking of having similar works performed.
